The primary function of fire doors is to effectively prevent the spread of fire and smoke during a fire by utilizing their fire resistance, heat insulation, and smoke prevention properties, thus buying valuable time for evacuation and fire rescue. Specific functions include:
1. Fire Resistance and Flame Retardancy: According to GB 12955-2008 standard, Class A fire doors have a fire resistance limit of 1.5 hours. The door leaf adopts a composite structure of steel frame and fire-resistant glass, filled internally with intumescent fire-resistant sealing strips that expand and seal gaps upon exposure to high temperatures.
2. Smoke Proof and Sealing: Meets the smoke prevention requirements of GB/T 16807-2009. A graphite-based sealing strip is used between the door frame and the door leaf, with a smoke density permeability ≤25%.
3. Heat Insulation and Cooling: The temperature rise on the unexposed side of a Class A insulated fire door is ≤140℃ (1.5-hour test). The door leaf thickness is 50-70mm, and the heat insulation coefficient K of the hollow fire-resistant glass is ≤1.5W/(㎡·K).
4. Safe Evacuation: Equipped with a hydraulic buffer door closer (fire-certified), ensuring automatic and impact-free door closure. The standard opening angle is 90° (180° customizable).
5. Structural Stability: Wind pressure resistance ≥3, welded door frame with a load-bearing capacity of 80kg, bolted connection for easy disassembly and maintenance. Application scenarios include high-rise residential buildings (unit doors), shopping mall fire compartments, hospital operating rooms, power distribution rooms, and other areas requiring fire isolation. During installation, ensure the gap between the door frame and the wall is sealed with fireproof sealant. The door closer force should be adjusted according to the door weight (recommended torque 8N·m for a 40kg door). Currently, we offer Class A fire doors conforming to GB 12955-2008 standards, featuring a steel frame and 35mm thick fire-resistant glass, with 1.5 hours of fire resistance and 30dB sound insulation. Custom sizes and opening directions are available.
