Fire door materials refer to the various materials used in manufacturing fire doors. These materials need to possess good fire resistance, flame retardancy, and heat insulation properties. Common fire door materials include steel, wood, steel-wood, glass, and other composite materials. Steel fire doors typically use cold-rolled steel plates or stainless steel plates, filled internally with fire-resistant and heat-insulating materials such as perlite and aluminum silicate fiber, offering high fire resistance and durability. Wooden fire doors use specially treated fire-resistant wood with a fire-retardant coating, suitable for locations where aesthetics are important. Steel-wood fire doors combine the advantages of steel and wood, being both sturdy and aesthetically pleasing. Glass fire doors use fire-resistant glass, suitable for locations requiring light transmission. In addition, there are some new composite material fire doors, such as ceramic fiber doors, which offer even higher fire resistance and lightweight characteristics. The choice of fire door material should be determined based on the specific usage scenario, fire resistance requirements, and aesthetic needs.
